Disco de Jack Off Jill: “Covetous Creature [Maxi Single]”

Jack Off Jill is the last band i would have thought of to put out a remix ep. When i first heard about it i was excited to hear what they could have done to the *amazing* original songs. Well with the exception of the "My Cat Meow Mix" the remixes are wonderful and totally compliment the originals instead of destroying them. People need to remember though these are just remixes and not a new direction for the band! Now i'm just waiting for the new cd "Clear Hearts Grey Flowers" hopefully it will be every bit as amazing as their other releases!

I like Jack Off Jill so I was pretty much assured I would find enjoyment in their remix album- I do enjoy it! But there should have been more songs remixed and remixing the songs ONLY ONCE. I love the first "My Cat" remix!

pretty good.but too much techno remixes make me sick!but i bought the cd knowing it would be remixed so its not like i didnt know..but i wanted to try it out.plus i love JOJ so i need the collection to begin!...well its pretty good..some songs shouldn't of been remixed..because it made them sound to clubby and poppy...American Made is a good remix,(tweaker)....and My Cat Meow Mix is really good!but the ending is really long...but its actually a little better then the original..Girlscout should of been either left out of this album as far as a remix or remixed by someone else..Cumdumpter is alright,original version is 100% better tho,My Cat auto. speed mix is not good..just too mixed up.Poor Impulse Control is alright but the original has more emotion and excitement...:) buy this cd if your a big JOJ fan,if you already have JOJ-SDAS then buy this because its interesting..but if its your first JOJ cd..go for Sexless Demons and Scars (SDAS).

this is a remix album from sexless demons and scars...though they should have put a new song on here just to make it more interesting....the best song is the final final bonus track and girlscout....its cool that they took my cat (a not very good song in the first place) and remixed a few times and its really good now ... and american made is a bad bad song i think and now its really listenable...on this ep joj sounds industrial almost but that a really good thing as joj proove

My friend told me about JOJ and I listened and seriously loved. The first stuff i heard was off of CHGF. So I went to my local CD shop and the only JOJ album they had was Covetous Creature. It was [inexpensive] so I bought it, even though everyone told me not to cause it was all remixed and "clubby". Well to make a long story short, I bought it and I did like it. SOme of the stuff was a little too beatty for me but after I got SDAS, I liked some of the remixes better. Like the ones for Poor Impulse Control and Girlscout were my favorites and I still don't know which ones I like better. But for most people this isn't a good starting JOJ CD, but if it is at the store BUY IT! Cause it [is not bad] like some remix CD's.
