Unlike another Japan-only compilation
this one is Japan-original. What I like most about this compilation is the selection of the tracks. Before going to well-known tracks such as DON'T STOP BELIEVING(the sixth track), or OPEN ARMS(the eighth track) music fans can enjoy some early Journey hits most of which did not become huge hits. And also this compilation has newer Journey tracks which would never see the light of day in US-release compilation such as ALL THE WAY from Arrival in 2001.
Track order is chronological and newer Journey fans of Japan can get to know Journey better by enjoying Journey songs from 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. Unfortunately this great compilation lasted only three years replaced by re-issue of original Journey compilation with red slipcase in 2004 what Japanese music fans calls it "Umizaru print" because the newer print was released when the Japanese movie Umizaru was out featuring Open Arms as the movie theme track. After that hefty 2-disc compilation came out both from U.S and U.K.
Verdict: Misses some hits but still one of the best single disk Journey compilations for sure.

Recommended for: Import disk fans and some of Journey item collectors.
