EXCLUSIVE! Bruce Dickinson on Iron Maiden The Movie!British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will release their first ever movie at cinemas worldwide on April 21. Flight 666 is billed as an “intimate, behind-the-scenes rock 'n' roll adventure” following the six members of Iron Maiden, led by Captain Bruce Dickinson, as they fly their very own jumbo jet around the world on last year's marathon Somewhere Back In Time world tour, playing to massive, sold-out crowds in far flung corners of the world as India and Australia, and Costa Rica and Japan. The band were accompanied everywhere by award winning documentary-makers Banger Productions, who have received international critical acclaim for their previous movie Metal; A Headbanger's Journey. Speaking to Kerrang! Dot Com, frontman Bruce Dickinson said: "Flight 666 is a snapshot of life in a rock band. We've never given anybody access to everything and they had access to everything, 24/7! “When we went out for a beer, they'd be there,” he added. “The only thing they didn't do was film us having a shit." Like the rest of the band, Dickinson is waiting until the documentary hits cinemas before he sees it. "I've got no idea what it's going to be like," he nervously laughed. "I genuinely have no idea. So I'm just waiting to see what they make of us."
