Disco de Less Than Jake: “Losers, Kings, and Things We Don't Understand”

It doesn't matter if you call it punk or ska but it is awesome. This is the first full-length CD by, in my opinion, the best ska/punk band on the planet. If you, like me, have some of there other CD's and are wondering if you should get this one, the answer is yes. It doesn't really compare to any of their other Cd's, all of their Cd's are a little different. This Cd is more raw and has a harder bass than the others and though it probably isn't as good as Losing Streak it is right behind.

This has always been a great album but, with the added bonus DVD...It really satiates your appetite for "Less Than Jake" !!...BUY IT !!!

You can't go wrong with Less Than Jake. Their music is upbeat and consistently great! I definitely recommend you buy this cd!

OK, here's the deal with this LTJ CD: I got this after Losing Streak and Hello Rockview and it was so different than those 2 albums. I tried hard to like it but just couldn't get into it like LS and HR. Then maybe half a year later I started listening to it again. Every day. Then I listened some more. I couldn't stop. The songs must have really grown on me because now it is my favorite LTJ album and it has been for over a year now. The songs on this CD are completely different from their more popular ones. They are more ska and more funky. If you get this album and are having trouble getting into it, try this: listen to that ska guitar that comes in after the bass on Econolodged. How funky is that? How about when he starts singing on Soundcheck? You just want to tap something to the beat. The last part of the album was the hardest to get into, but now I love that too. What really bugs me is that they never play anything from this album at their shows anymore. Here's my favs: Souncheck, 24 Hours In Paramus, Time and a Half, Econolodged, F_cked.

this is a great album. less than jake is an amazing band. this is a must have for any less than jake fan or any fan of ska.
