Is There Anyplace Timbaland Won’t Go Pimp His New Album?Timbaland hopped onto Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveShow tour and showcased material from the guest-star-heavy Timbaland Presents Shock Value during weird DJ-break intermissions. He premiered the video for “Throw It On Me” on the WWE’s Monday Night RAW show. He made headlines for announcing he’s working with Celine Dion and hit the gossips for instructing Britney Spears to apologize to him and Timberlake for ditching their collaboration. And now, to ensure he hasn’t ignored the housewife/unemployed-recent-grad demo, he’s going to perform on soap opera One Life to Live. On an episode airing October 9th, Timbaland will play “The Way I Are” with Keri Hilson (joining an eclectic list of onetime OLTL performers that includes Mary J. Blige, Lifehouse and Simply Red). How pumped is Timbaland to conquer daytime drama? In a statement, he said, “This is a new experience for me. I am looking forward to having a great time and sharing my music!”

Pete Townshend to Debut New Musical, Black Eyed Peas Are Here To Stay, And More “The Boy Who Heard Music,” the new musical by The Who’s Pete Townshend, is set to premiere under the bright lights of Poughkeepsie, NY, on July 13th. The piece is connected thematically to previous Townshend works Lifehouse and Psychoderelict. Michael Moore is back, and he’s learned how to use YouTube. In anticipation of Sicko, his scathing look at the U.S. health care system, Moore is recruiting people to tell their own health care war stories, which he’ll post on his very own YouTube page. So instead of posting videos like this, break out the camcorders and get to work. In what is either really good bad news or really bad good news, Fergie says the Black Eyed Peas are not going away. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper gives George Bush yet another lesson on how a mature leader is supposed to behave. Harper makes Dubya look like a U2 groupie. The Fiery Furnaces, the most loquacious and prolific band this side of the Atlantic, are back with a new album (Widow City, out Oct. 23) for a new label (Thrill Jockey). We smell lawsuit: Remember that the kid that Akon bodyslammed into the audience? He’s alright, but the woman he landed on isn’t.
