Madness Album: “NW5 (I Would Give You Everything)”

Madness is back on the top of their game! This is a great song. It is classic Madness! They sound more like they did in the early 80's than they ever have. So Wonderful wasn't so wonderful, but these new singles following up Dangermen are showing that these masters of their craft are getting better with age.

When I heard Madness put out a new song, I was curious. When I first heard NW5, I thought it could have been an extra track from Rise and Fall! The band is in great form here, playing like they never broke up 25 years ago. Don't get me wrong, this is not an exercise in nostalgia. This song is fresh with a great beat and greater hooks. If you loved (or even liked) Madness in the 80s, BUY THIS TRACK!

This is an absolutely amazing song - I am simply blown away! It is rich and complex...but yet catchy. Madness are not just BACK....they are BETTER THAN EVER!!

Both NW5 (AKA "I Would Give You Everything") and the oldie "It Must Be Love" come now from the German movie "Neues vom Wixxer". Everybody know "It Must Be Love", less know or heard NW5, many more will get familiar with NW5 in the near future for it's a great melancholic song done the Madness way. It is an extremely good song and the videos are fine too, following to some extent the legacy Madness had imprinted during the 80s. Hopefully Madness would come up with similar top quality releases in their next album--the world needs the 80s back. Madness is on a long tour this summer (2007), and I suggest you check them out.
