It was just by accident that I ended up seeing Madsen in concert in Berlin three
years ago. They were the warm-up band for a much better known group.
My daughter(15 at the time) and I(44) both loved them immediately.
Something about THE ENERGY OF THEIR MUSIC- THE SIMPLE, YOUTHFUL STYLE, THE SWEETNESS
OF IT, THE WAY IT IMMEDIATELY LIFTS YOUR MOOD AND MAKES YOU WANT TO SMILE REMINDS ME OF
THE BEATLES.
You can't help but like them.
You don't I have to know German to thoroughly enjoy them, but, if you do, the
lyrics are wonderful. Clever, sweet, amusing in a way that really sets them
apart.
By far the best music to come out of Germany in ages.
But also some of the best music to come from anywhere.
They really deserve exposure here.
They probably won't get it, unfortunately, until they start singing in English.
If they do, I predict that they'll become really popular.
