Manfred Mann Album: “Budapest Live [Bonus Tracks]”

This is truly awesome! Sometimes in music, everything comes together perfectly on just one night and this was it. All 8 original tracks on the CD are stunning and the best renditions of each you're ever likely to hear. (you will notice the diffrence in the 3 added tracks - they are not from the same concert).

Chris Thompson's awesome vocals here, are the best I've ever heard them.

All the tracks are extended to some degree but this is worth it for the extended "rounder" version of 'Blinded by the Light' alone.

No need to be a big fan of MMEB with this either. I've never met anyone who didn't like at least some of the tracks here. 'Blinded', 'Lies','Davy's on the Road', 'Spirit's in the Night' or 'Mighty Quinn' are all recocnisable.

From a huge MMEB fan this is as good as it gets and the best they've ever sounded. Just get it!
