- KILL WITH POWER,DIE DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IM only 13 but manowar has to be one of my favorite metal band ever. The sound is way more agreesive and loud than the studio albums and features all the classics.SO if you like metal(nu metal dose not count) or rock in general you have to pick this up.

- Other bands play, Manowar kills!

There's not really too much to be said about Manowar in a live setting. If you already know their music, simply imagine those great power metal anthems with the volume turned up to 11 and thousands of people at a time singing the cheesy metal lyrics.

If you don't already know their music, well then get to steppin'! Go back and purchase all their studio albums. That's right, I said ALL of them, learn the songs and THEN come back here and listen to the classics in all their live glory. Hearing stuff like "Manowar," "Kings of Metal," "Hail and Kill," "Fighting the World," and so many others just rules it. And for me, it was a real bonus, because I DON'T have all the studio albums (I know, hypocrite), so hearing songs like "Spirit Horse of the Cherokee" for the first time was fantastic. BTW, "Spirit..." is one of the strongest tunes on the first disc.

So all in all, this is a great representation of one of metal's all-time classic bands in a live setting. You can really tell they get off on their status as metal warriors and in the way they interact with the fans. Great live album. Get it.

- Disappointed Manowar Fan...

For starters I am a huge Manowar fan and I hate having to do this, but true metal fans would like to hear this instead of listening to someone lie for the sake of their band. Do not purchase this CD if you are planning on listening to Eric Adams's beautiful voice because you will not hear it on 95% of the songs. It's a shame but Manowar's pursuit of the loudest metal on Earth has backfired on this live album. The music is so loud (which we all like as Manowar fans) that it completely drowns out the vocals... Maybe it was a error in the recording or something like that but nevertheless I didn't care for the album. I enjoy lyrics and vocals the most when I am listening to music. I have seen Manowar 3 times now and they are still my favorite band, so don't get the idea that I am bashing them because I would never do that...

- LOUDER THAN HELL

I LOVE MANOWAR SINCE 1983 WITH INTO GLORY RIDE, I WAS THIRTEEN AT THE TIME, LOVE ALL THEIR WORK, BUT THIS LIVE ALBUM IS A BIT DISAPPOINTING SINCE THE MUSIC IS SO LOUD THAT IT REALLY DROWNS OUT ERIC'S VOCALS, THE SONGS ARE GOOD BUT FOR THE OLD SCHOOL FANS I RECOMMEND HELL ON STAGE LIVE WHICH IS ON A NEXT LEVEL COMPARED TO THIS CD, AS I AM AN AVID COLLECTOR OF TRUE METAL THIS CD I ESSENTIAL FOR THE COLLECTABLE VALUE BUT THAT IS IT- I ALWAYS REACH BACK AND GRAB INTO GLORY RIDE AS THIS IS THEIR CLASSIC.

- FOR TRUE BELIEVERS ONLY!

MANOWAR is the ONLY actual "heavy metal" band still inexistence on Earth today. They have the look, the sound, the attitude, and THE greatest vocalist (apart from Ian Gillan) for metal ever! Sadly tey never really caught on in the USA like so many other inferior bands have done in the past. This country really missed the boat (or winged chariot) on MANOWAR. Enjoy this live collection but seek out the studio versions because they are tremendous!
