- Great remake

Marilyn's remake of Depeche Mode's 1989/1990 #28 hit is truly inspired. I loved the orginal, and I am not a big Marilyn Manson fan, so the stage was set for me to hate this song. However, I think Marilyn does a great job and takes a goth 80's song and makes it even darker. He certainly gives it a harder edge. I do think the price of this import single is a bit high. You might want to save some bucks and download it a lot cheaper.

- Must Have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marilyn Manson's cover of Personal Jesus is awesome and rocks hard. The remixes of Personal Jesus & mOBCENE are very good and would make this a must have but wait there is more. This Australian import contains the Uncut! , Personal Jesus music video, this single is a must have for this alone. No fan should be without this cd.

- a great cover song

If you like Marilyn Manson and Depeche Mode, you will like this song. That's all that really needs to be said.

- Soccer mom loves it!

OK. I'm 42. I drive a van. I have a kid in 2nd grade. And I rock out to "Personal Jesus" so hard with the windows down that I freak out just about every car that passes. I don't get into Marilyn Manson as a whole (but do love Nine Inch Nails, go figure). I adore Depeche Mode, but I prefer this version over DM's.

Buy it and play it and stomp your boots as you belt it out.
