Michael Jackson is dead aged 50Michael Jackson has died from a massive heart attack, aged 50.
Paramedics were called to the King Of Pop’s Beverly Hills home at about midday yesterday after he stopped breathing.
He was pronounced dead two hours later at the UCLA medical centre.
Michael’s brother Jermaine said he was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.
Speaking on behalf of the Jackson family, Jermaine said doctors had tried to resuscitate the star for more than an hour without success.

A-listers bid farewell to Isaac and BernieTwo of America’s most popular performers have died in tragic circumstances. Isaac Hayes, 65, was found by a relative after a suspected heart attack while Bernie Mac, 50, died in hospital following a long-term illness.
Isaac Hayes was famous for his 1971 “Theme from Shaft” which won him an Oscar and Grammy. The music legend also co-wrote the classic song, Soul Man and was popular for his role as “Chef” in South Park. Isaac’s wife’s cousin found him slumped by a treadmill and he was pronounced dead at 2.10pm. The docs suspect he had a heart attack whilst exercising but his cause of death is yet to be officially announced.
Meanwhile A-list tributes have been pouring in over the death of comic actor, Bernie Mac. Bernie has been in hospital for two weeks suffering from pneumonia. He had been expected to make a full recovery but his internal organs were too badly damaged.
Bernie starred in his own highly popular sitcom, The Bernie Mac Show as well as in several massive films including the Ocean’s 11 series. His co-star George Clooney said: “The world just got a little less funny. He will be dearly missed."
Bernie’s other major Ocean’s co-star, Brad Pitt, added: “I lament the loss of a ferociously funny and hardcore family man. My thoughts are with [his wife], Rhonda, and their family. Bernie Mac, you are already missed."
