- Excellent CD
I found McFly when I watched "Just My Luck", and loved their songs... The songs on this CD may not be catchy at the "first listen", but by the time I heard it the second time, I loved it... It's now one of my favourite albums... Well done, McFly!! =)

- Is It My Imagination, or Do You Feel Good?
For American audiences, McFly is like Hanson, except actually good, and they might even have mixes of the Jonas Brothers, except, McFly is actually great. With a penchant for covers, a world-wide cult following, and an implied motto of 'Fun first,' it's a crime that the States don't know this band. "Motion In The Ocean" is probably best introduction to the band, as it is the most unabashedly fun effort to date. Of course, with a song like "Transylvania," complete with organs and Dracula background vocals, how could you take yourselves seriously?
"We Are The Young," "Star Girl," "Please Please," "Sorry's Not Good Enough," and "Friday Night" are all full of energy and youthful fun and excitement, capturing what very few American bands have bottled. Sure, it may not be the most original, but this album has only one goal in mind: have a good time. And in this sense, the album is a smashing success. The album also owes a lot to its song-writers, as they perfect the formula, and the producer for making it all sound amazing. Even when the band slows it down with a piano such as, "Bubble Wrap," "Lonely," and "Walk In The Sun" the band pines old themes in a simple, but effective manner, with some surprising emotion involved. "Little Johanna" also foreshadows a sound that groups like Panic at the Disco would take even farther, in a sound that builds in a very strange sunny feeling pioneered by The Beatles. It's so good, it's amazing nobody thought of it before.
But in a question of a highlight, "Home Is Where The Heart Is" wins my vote, as it invokes a sound totally different from the rest of the album, but Bon Jovi himself would be right at home in singing, hearkening back to his classic rock works of the 80s. It again is surprisingly simple, but surprisingly effective and good. And again, the writing and production values are amazing. And if you happened to get the bonus track, a cover of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now," you again won't be disappointed. The band really seems incapable of disappointment on this album. "Silence Is A Scary Sound" is a also a worthy tune.
Personally, it's one of my favourite albums of all time, and I haven't got tired of it yet. It's just the type that's so catchy and fun, you just want to share it with the world. So please do so, and feel the "Motion In The Ocean," because a wave of fun is sure to crash over you.

- GREAT CD
If you like McFly, you will like this CD! Please read carefully the "Editorial Review / Product Description" which mentions "11 ... tracks" on this CD. This album does NOT include Track 12 "Don't Stop Me Now," though it is listed with the other 11 songs.

- After a few listens, I'm hooked!
I agree with the 1st reviewer that McFly have suddenly gone Queen on a lot of tracks. I do hear many influences of pop-rock, plus the usual 60's beach boys type of influence, which I happen to like. At first listen, I was slightly disappointed in some tracks. But after several listens, more and more of the songs got stuck in my head. I started liking each song more and more. I love "Transylvania" best, it's really different! I think McFly are VERY talented at songwriting, singing and performing. Being as I am an adult and therefore been listening to music for longer than some McFly fans, I do hear more influences rather than pure originality. Yet somehow they manage to take familiar sounds and add enough complexities to impress. Bottom line is: These songs are catchy, and I love their singing/harmony style. I also love the variety in style. Yes, there's some pop, some rock, some oldies, they used to throw in a little punk on previous CD's. Variety is the spice of life! I hope McFly stays around for awhile because they are refreshing to me, one of the 1st bands I've really taken to in YEARS!!! Good job, guys, keep it up. :)
- It's more than an incredible Album!! This CD confirms how much talented is McFLY!
Every song is AMAZING, and the lyrics are just perfect! But I have to say that I received this with some problems, and I was about to freaking out when I saw that the cap was cracked!!!!! Anyway Im just happy to get it in my hands! McFLY is one of the most awesome band in the whole world!
