McFly Album: “Just My Luck”

I'm an American adult who has NEVER heard of McFly. I went to see Lindsay Lohan's movie "Just My Luck" and while the movie itself wasn't great, I really liked the guys who played the band McFly. I thought the songs were catchy and they were cute (I can say that, even if I'm older than them, right?) Anyway, I got home from the movie and went to Amazon to look them up and see if they were a real band - I ordered this CD that night and it's been in my car's CD player ever since! I LOVE the combination of melody/harmony with guitar (thank you for bringing back guitar solos!) - They're refreshing to me, it's been so long since I got excited by music - so I'm not a teen, but I do LOVE this band's music and can't wait to hear more from them! I TOTALLY recommend buying this CD if you love catchy, REAL music with good vocals. Great job, McFly! :o)

McFly....just a mention of the band name and it sends me into a giddy frenzy.

I've been a fan of McFly over here in america for the past 2 years or so, and they are SO FREAKIN' COOL!!! McFly is funny, cool, awesome, amazing, and did i mention AWESOME!?!?

Even if you have the other two albums, this one is worth getting because a lot of the songs are re-records, and it's cool to hear how different they sound.

it's a great CD for people new to the band, and a great addition to any McFly collection.

Wow. What an absolutely fun, all-out PARTY of an album!

I recently watched the movie "Just My Luck" where this U.K. band is featured as themselves. The soundtrack to the film includes many songs from them and by the end of the film I was sitting there thinking..."I really like this sound...I wonder if they have real recordings online?" I found this particular CD with all the songs included in the movie on it and immediately downloaded it.

And I have been loving it every day!

Yes. They do have a "Beatles" influence. The harmony choices are very Beatles-esque...but it definitely has a new punk tone to it. And even though it's probably the cheesiest song on here, my favorite is till "Five Colors In Her Hair". IT'S JUST SO MUCH FUN!!!

But you'll find that you love every track on here. Each one with great harmonies, clever rhythms, and crazy fun energy.

I'm a happy new fan!

Okay so I know every line to every song. But Im a McFly freak and had to buy this CD to replace the first one I got a while back which I had played so much it got ruined! =]

This is McFly's first American album and it is basically a greatest hits of their first two English albums, all great songs. Everybody who I have had listen to them loves them. Make these guys just as big here as they are in England. They are the youngest band to reach number one on the charts across the pond, a record that was previously held by The Beatles.
