You won’t BELIEVE who these people are so desperate to see!If Topshop announced that they were giving away all their stock for free, or McFly said we had fifteen minutes to do exactly what we wanted to them, then we might, at a push, break into a gentle jog. But we can’t imagine why anyone would manage to muster up so much enthusiasm for Paul blooming McCartney! These were the scenes in Quebec when ol’ Macca rocked up to play a concert – thousands of fans, desperate to bag a spot in the front row and see Paul’s wrinkles up close, made a dash into the stadium as if their lives depended on it. We don’t want to sound all Mario about it, but surely this is just not sensible from a health and safety point of view? Just look at them go! They’re falling over and their clothes are hanging off! We know he used to be in, like, some famous band or something, but seriously, is he really worth it?!

McFly have just announced some VERY unusual tour dates...What's better than going down to the woods and finding some teddy bears having a picnic? Actually, quite a lot, because that would just be downright scary, but we've discovered that there's something VERY exciting going on down in the woods next summer. The swoonsome and talented McFly have announced they will be heading into the trees during June next year for three special gigs in association with the Forestry Commission’s annual live music series. If you didn't get the chance to see the boys on their recent Radio:ACTIVE tour – we did, it was superb and brilliant and amazing and stuff – then this is your chance to hear them perform all their new hits, including One For The Radio, the magnificent Lies, and current single Do Ya/Stay With Me, as well as loads of their old classics. McFly, as well as being extremely easy on the eye, always put on an unforgettable show and are one band you really do need to see live to fully appreciate. We can think of a lot worse ways to spend a sunny June evening. Details of the gigs are below, and you can get your tickets from 9am this Friday morning. So, will you be taking your picnic down to the woods to see McFly, or would you rather chew on some old bark?
Gigs:
Friday 19 June – Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire
Saturday 20 June – Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nr Edwinstowe, Notts
Friday 26 June – Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, North Yorks
