A Negri Concerts, em parceria com a CKConcerts e Lamparina Produções anuncia uma atração internacional inédita no país. Os canadenses do ANNIHILATOR pisam em solo brasileiro pela primeira vez diretamente no METAL OPEN AIR.

Várias atrações já foram confirmadas: dois dos Big Four, Megadeth e Anthrax prometem fechar dois dos dias do festival em grande estilo, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, Venom, Dio Disciples, U.D.O., Obituary, Exodus, Destruction, OTEP, Legion of the Damned, Fear Factory e Anvil além das nacionais Matanza, Andre Matos, Korzus, Dark Avenger, Torture Squad, Shaman, Drowned, Unearthly, Attomica, Hangar, Terra Prima, Semblant, Obskure, Headhunter D.C. e Expose Your Hate. Ainda há muitas bandas nacionais e internacionais participantes do METAL OPEN AIR a serem anunciadas em breve.

ANNIHILATOR - A banda foi formada no Canadá nos anos 80 e teve seu primeiro álbum gravado em 1989, sob o título “Alice In Hell”. Apesar das constantes mudanças na formação, os dois primeiros álbuns foram os responsáveis por colocar o Annihilator na cena headbanger mundial. Ao longo da carreira são treze álbuns de estúdio. Recentemente a banda lançou o auto-intitulado “Annihilator”, seu 13° álbum de estúdio, em maio de 2010 e passou o ano de 2011 também dedicado à composição do novo trabalho, com expectativa para lançamento no primeiro semestre deste ano.

SOBRE O METAL OPEN AIR

O METAL OPEN AIR possuirá uma ampla estrutura para atender fãs do país inteiro: estacionamento externo à área do festival, camping indoor e outdoor (com banheiros e chuveiros), praça de alimentação, mais de 40 geradores de energia, dois palcos (lado a lado), camarote com área de Meet & Greet com as bandas do festival, área de convivência para os artistas, bilheterias para quem quiser adquirir ingressos na hora, entre outras facilidades. Toda a estrutura do festival estará amparada por um grande esquema de segurança.

Durante os três dias de METAL OPEN AIR, fãs de todo o país poderão conferir vinte das bandas mais importantes do heavy metal mundial e vinte das mais talentosas bandas do heavy metal brasileiro no Parque Independência.
