- Best single ever
The reason to buy this single is Track 2, the "Kill/Ride Medley". It's a truly great live performance from Donington '95. The medley begins with parts of Ride The Lightning, then goes through No Remorse, Hit The Lights, The Four Horsemen, Phantom Lord, and Fight Fire With Fire in that order. And then it ends with Ride The Lightning again. It's great.
This is slightly different than the Kill/Ride Medley that appears on the "Cunning Stunts" DVD. In that version, Seek And Destroy is played instead of Phantom Lord.

- this is a must have for real metallica fans
"hero of the day" is "hero of the day": a great song but not the greatest and it's one you all know. the reason this is so incredible is because of the Kill/Ride Medley. not only is it filled with amazing songs but the continuity and fluidity with which they are played is beautiful. anyone who enjoys live metallica and the first two albums must have this single.

- Must Have
This single has only two tracks, but its 15 minutes of great music. The highlight of the CD is the amazing Kill/Ride Medley. Recorded in England in 1995, it features songs from the first two albums. This single proves Metallica's extreme diversity between slower and heavier tunes. A definite must-have in any music collection.

- This CD Rocks.
This CD is for anyone that likes Metallica. "Hero of the Day" Is in my opinion one of the best songs I have ever heard. The guitar riffs are incredible and the lyrics speak for themselves. This is the awesome single any hard rock fan would fall in love with the first time they pop it in their player. On a scale of 1-10 this single is a 20.

- Great collectable
The packaging of this item is great. Glossy photos of all band members. The actual piece is about the size of a 12" vinyl (maybe a little thicker). I rate it 5 stars out of 5 if you are a true Metallica collector, this is something you should keep an eye out for. It's obviously out of print now, and there are only 1,000 copies floating around out there.
