- FYI

Just wanted to point out a couple of examples of the editing/censorship of the videos. In "Hero of the Day", some of the shots of the main character in bed with his girlfriend were cut out and replaced with shots of the program on the TV. And in "Turn the Page", the nudity was blurred out for our protection ;). There may be more, but those are 2 that I noticed.

- Almost Great

I've been waiting for this release for a LONG time. It's great especially with the surround sound audio track. The 3 star rating is because the DVD is unfortunately censored. The videos that have profanity are censored like they were on TV and the "Turn the Page" video is the censored version that has all the nudity cut out. Same with "Whiskey in the Jar." It's not really all of their videos but I'll take what I can get! Also, the "Unforgiven (Theatrical Version)" and "One (Jammin' Version)" aren't in surround sound. No subtitles either. A solid 3. Maybe even 3.5.

- Dolby 5.1 Sound issues

Who was the sound guy of this dvd? The soundtrack playing while the main menu is displayed is 8 times the volume of the videos!

Everytime you go back to the main menu to select the video you want to watch, or re-watch, you better make dang sure you turned the volume down before you get to the main menu or you'll blow your speakers.

Moron sound guy, moron producer? Who is at fault here? Does anyone involved in making this dvd ever sit down & watch it before it is released to see what problems might lie in wait before they ship it to the masses?

All that being said, great dvd! Metallica Rules!

- Traditional Heavy Metal

Metallica is about as heavy of metal as I can handle. And this seems to be the videos for Metallica. I'll watch them and report back after my DVD is setup.
