Molotov

Molotov Album: “Eternamiente [Edited]”

Molotov Album: “Eternamiente [Edited]”
Description :
Molotov: Randy Ebright.
Additional personnel: Chloe Ebright, Josie Ebright (vocals); Javier De La Cueva, Ismael Fuentes (guitar); Camilo Friedoval (piano).
Purported to be Molotov's final studio album, 2007's ETERNAMIENTE finds the eclectic and inventive Rock en Espanol band offering up a restless and dynamic outing. From the driving opener, "No Deje Que," to the funky, new-wave leaning "DDT," to the rap-tinged "Guacala Que Rico," the revered Mexico City quartet stays true to its anything-goes aesthetic, resulting in a fascinating whirlwind of styles and sounds.

- Back to their best

Perhaps fans had thought Molotov didn't have another great album in them after the somewhat disappointing Con Todo Respeto (which I love anyway), but they would be wrong. Eternamiente shows all the elements which make Molotov one of the very best rock bands in the world today and should be considered one of the best rock albums of the year. Encompassing the fast thrashy styles of their earlier albums courtesy of Miky, through to the funky bass beats of Paco, the other worldly sound of Tito to the hip hop sensibility of Randy, the album fuses all these styles brilliantly to make an eminently listenable, instant rock classic. I can't recommend it highly enough. Molotov Eternamiente, eternamente!

- awesome album....

this is a brand new sound for molotov.... fast tempo tracks have some "Ramones" feel to them

musically, i think the band has stepped it up a notch...while most of the hardcore fans will alway think of their debut album "donde jugaran las niñas" as their best effort, this is really a great album

give it a try....you won't regret it

best tracks:

1-no dejes que el peje lo apendeje

2-guacala que rico

3-watts

4-hasta la basura se separa

5-dejate algo
