Having crossed over to remarkable success in America and Europe in the late 1990s, the band sticks to its guns on DANCE AND DENSE DENSO, singing and rapping mostly in Spanish and churning out razor-sharp guitar riffs, fierce bass lines, and tight rhythms. The opening title track is a hard-charging rocker, while the innuendo-laced "Changuich a la Chicona" (sic) is Molotov's tongue-in-cheek take on Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back." Elsewhere, the stereotype-busting "Frijolero" features traditional Mexican accompaniment, and the funky "I'm the One" is the rare all-English tune. Always avoiding stagnation, Molotov continues to move forward on DANCE AND DENSE DENSO, revealing a wide sonic range and truly commendable ambition. <p>On its fourth album, Mexican rap-rock group Molotov hones its eclectic sound ever further. - Molotov...

Molotov represents themselves well. Anybody who is taking spanish in school right now, this is the cd to have. The tracks that stand out the most have to be: Here We Kum, Frijolero and my favorite track Changuich A La Chichona. I like the dirty lyrics on this cd,spanish and english...

- Enjoyable more if you understand the lyrics

I heard a past ignorant review about "lacking of lyrical content" specially on E. Charles White. It is hard to judge something that you simply don't understand because you don't speak spanish (mexican).

What seems to be a list of random names to the dumb ear, happens to be an interesting display of "double meaning" phrases with usually strong sexual content. If you have a Mexican friend, he will gladly explain you the whole disk. I can not write them here due to the nature of the explicit words that have to be used in the explanation of this song.

As this song, the whole discs is usually not understood or misunderstood. So buy it and judge it intelligently having fun in the process.

- This band really rocks!!

The first Molotov album I bought and it really shocked me from the first track. I had heard their music, but I needed to confirm their quality with a whole album. Their lyrics are explicit and funny, their music is a mixture of rock, hip-hop, punk and rap, all in a perfectly driven mexican-style.

I recommend this album for all the public.

- The SHIZNIT

Molotov has come a long way and they "don't care mucho". This band just keeps getting better and better. I had never heard of them until a trip to Mexico in '98 and it seems that every club was playing their "Puto" song. It was such a cool and catchy song that I bought their CD and got hooked. Of all of their CD's though, Dance and dense Denso is the best. Their lyrics are straight out and blunt;their message is very direct. They are serious yet funny and oh so very controversial that they leave you breathless. The band just doesn't give a f#@! about what people might say or think. They speak (or sing) their minds and that makes them a KICK-ASS band! (They are even better live)
