News Ticker: Kanye West, Weezer, The Game, Sheryl Crow A representative for Kanye West tells Us Weekly that the rumor the rapper secretly married his longtime fiancé is untrue. Rivers Cuomo posted a note on Weezer’s official site this week saying the band’s sixth album is nearly complete. Expect a release in June. The Game has confirmed his release from jail, saying in a statement this week’s conflicting reports were due to “the sensitive negotiations on this matter” and adding he went straight into the studio after leaving prison. Sheryl Crow announced she would be collaborating with Fleetwood Mac. Crow said it could happen next year, but kept mum on additional details.

"Go Go Smear the Poison Ivy" by MúmIceland's Múm have travelled stylistic light-years since the baby-toy electronica of 2000's Yesterday Was Dramatic – Today Is OK, gradually beefing up their sound over the years with decidedly mixed results. Early sublime moments came when Kristín Valtýsdóttir's wispy melodies drifted into the same make-believe space as Gunnar Örn Tynes and Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason's ethereal, glockenspiel-augmented electronics—the results were classic experimental pop in the Icelandic tradition. Múm are now technically a duo (Valtýsdóttir left to make albums with her husband, Animal Collective's Avey Tare), and reappear with their fourth full-length, Go Go Smear the Poison Ivy, an album whose many auxiliary contributors allow Tynes and Smárason to inhabit Múm's new identity as a large-ensemble indie-pop band. Rather than forcing their uneven songwriting to the forefront, as on Summer Make Good,

Friends say the singer has now been "missing for days", and has been unreachable since Friday. Talking to the Daily Record, James' cousin Rab Allan said, "He has been working really, really hard and he probably needs a break. It should concern me. We're like brothers. He's been saying for ages that he needed a break. His mum

Robbie talks drugsIt comes as no great shock that Robbie Williams has dabbled in a few naughty substances in his time, but we had no idea just how long ago he was doing it. Writing about his childhood on his blog, Rob says, "It was in Shelleys [night club] where I had my first acid experience. I was given a tiny piece of paper to ingest. There was a band called the Prodigy performing that night and I thought they were really good." However, despite the Prodigy being there, Rob admits he didn't enjoy his trip at all. "Afterwards we drove up to the garage and the police were on the forecourt. Shit, I thought, I want to go home. I'm scared. There is only one place I want to be – at home with my mum." Awww, bless Robbie. The story doesn't end there, though. When he got home Robbie began halluncinating. "American footballs were coming out of the TV, so I decided to go downstairs and stab myself," he recounts. Whaaat? Don't worry folk, Robbie never did actually stab himself. Jeez, it must be strange to be Robbie Williams, don't you think?

Are YOU excited about Madonna's tour? There's a lot of stuff going on this weekend – the Leeds/Reading festival, an amazing episode of The X Factor, oh and heatworld's mum is coming to stay – but one of the biggest events in the pop calendar kicks off this weekend in Cardiff: Madonna's Sweet and Sticky tour. The gig features 16 dancers, a 12-piece band, more than eight costume changes for Madge, £1million of Swarovski crystals and, hopefully, loads of old Madonna hits. She's had a bit of a ropey year has Madge, what with the divorce rumours and all, so let's hope it all goes OK for her. But are any of you lot going? And *whispers* do any of you actually care? Or do you think that the thought of a 50-year-old mum heading up a tour called Sticky anhd Sweet is really just a bit, well, grim? Let us know...

Let's get intimate with McFly...If, like heatworld, you think McFly are just about the greatest thing since Cadbury's Spira bars (remember them?!), then this little nugget of news is going to get you very excited. Harry Judd, who, let's be honest, is hotter than a fork in a bonfire, and band mate Danny Jones, who, let's face it, has the most kissable mouth on the planet, popped into heat Towers yesterday evening to have a chat with Andi Peters on heat Radio's excellent reviews show Hot Or Not – and they had loads to say. In fact, they nattered away so happily that we couldn't fit it all on the show! But fear not, McFly fans – because we're very generous, and because we know that you'll want to hear every last murmur the boys made, we've put the whole interview, plus some exclusive unheard bits onto a special podcast for you to download. We know, we're not sure how we did it either – good thing there are a few technical types working here. Not only do Harry and Danny tell us exactly what they think of Cheryl Cole, but Harry also has his say on Lindsay's relationship with Samantha Ronson (they did naughty things together once, remember? We still haven’t forgiven her) and both the lads tell us why they think they have the perfect, erm, package. Oh, the things we could say about McFly and their packages... Sigh. Anyway, there's also an amusing moment when Danny's mum joins in with the chat and ends up giving away an embarrassing secret about her sexy son, plus lots of news about the boys' new album (Radio:ACTIVE, out now) and their plans for the future. Are your ears popping out in expectation? Well, we've provided a little taster of the podcast in this clip, but if you want the full chunk then simply click here and follow the instructions. You can subscribe through iTunes, or download direct using the links on that page. So, what are you waiting for? Go and get your very own slice of McPie... Yummy!
