Er, how old is Kylie again?

Now, correct us if we’re wrong, but we thought Kylie Minogue was turning 40 this month. However, this new shot we’ve just been sent suggests she’s more like 14. Or four. In fact, the wavy hair make us all nostalgic for her Charlene days, when she was actually a teenager. We’re not sure if it’s airbrushing, surgery or black magic that’s made her look so ridiculously young, but there’s definitely something a bit fishy going on. Are we really expected to believe that this is what she looks like naturally? We do hope she’s not turning into Michael Jackson…

Amy's done a new interview and she sounds – gulp! – normal

We are literally in shock. Over the past few months, you'd be lucky to get two coherent words out of the mouth of Amy Winehouse – and that included when she was actually performing on stage! But yesterday she did an impromptu interview with a French journalist – through the intercom of her house, naturally – and she actually managed to speak clearly and even articulately for several minutes. The French journalist, who was very gentle in her approach, asked Amy how she was feeling about Blake, to which the singer replied that she was "missing him very much". She went to to say that she was sorry Blake had been "taken away from her" before he got a chance to meet her mum properly and that all this has been "frustrating" for her. Wow. Seriously, there's hardly a slur and not a swear word to be heard – and Amy even manages a cute little French comment at the end. It's so great to hear Amy sounding so, well, normal again. Perhaps getting off the gig circuit and back into the studio has really helped put her back on track? What do you think? Have a listen to the interview and let us know.

Nicola wanted skin graft to be brown like rest of Girls Aloud

We’ve always had a soft spot for Nicola from Girls Aloud, and now we think we love her even more. The pretty redhead has admitted that she used to have major issues with her pale skin, and that she would still consider having cosmetic surgery to fix the bump in her nose. Only two months ago, Nicola was still having regular spray tans to make her naturally pale skin appear darker, “Being pale was a massive insecurity for me,” she admits. The star was so frustrated by her colouring that she used to wish she could have a skin graft to turn her brown. Being surrounded by her uber-tanned band mates didn’t help her either. “I hated it, especially being against the other girls who were so tanned," she said. Thankfully, Nicola has now begun to accept that pale can be beautiful and is even creating a new make-up range for pale-skinned people as part of new show The Passions Of Girls Aloud. We’ve always thought you look gorgeous just as you are, Nicola.

J-Lo speaks about IVF rumours

Jennifer Lopez has set the record straight about how she got pregnant with her twins – and says that, contrary to reports, she did NOT have IVF treatment. Jen and husband Marc Anthony welcomed twins Emme and Max into the world last month, and have now spoken out to reveal that they were conceived naturally after more than two years of trying. Jennifer also says she found out she was pregnant when she was performing in Portugal, and Marc phoned her to say he had “a sense” that she was preggers. Jen says her family always joked that she’d be the sister who’d have twins (they run in the family, apparently) because everything with her has to be a big production. Ooh, the cheeky monkeys.

Why Lily wants to lose weight…

It seems it’s not just her hair that’s undergoing a transformation – Lily Allen reckons she also wants to make a few changes to her body. Lily says that the stress of filming her TV show, Lily Allen & Friends, made her gain weight – and she’s not happy. “I don't look great at all,” she says. “I've put on so much weight with all the stress of my TV show. I'm glad it's over. Now the show is over I am sure I will lose some weight, just naturally as well as exercising in the gym twice a week. I hate fat tummies so I hope it goes by summer.” Last year, dinky Lily lost around a stone and a half after discovering that she had a heart condition. She still looks pretty good to us, so we hope she doesn’t overdo it…

Who went out in their underwear?

OK, so she might be the First Lady of pop and the queen of controversy, but that's still really no excuse for wearing this revolting shorts and heels combo. Madonna was snapped out in New York, wearing these weird, lace-bottomed satin shorts accessorised with mega-high heels and a trucker cap, naturally. OK, so it's not the first time Madge has been brave with fashion (who could ever forget those cone-shaped bras?), but wearing the underwear of a rather racy granny is just plain silly. Honestly, the only place those shorts should be is on a cross-dressing boxer. We're only being harsh because we know you can do so much better, Mads. Meanwhile, in other Madge-related news, Guy Ritchie's mum has come forward to rubbish claims that her son and Madonna are getting a divorce. "It is absolute rubbish," she said, "These reports are hurtful intrusions into their private lives. They are not getting divorced; the speculation is total tosh." Well, that told us.

Janet Jackson battles with her weight AGAIN

Janet Jackson’s weight seems to yo-yo more than, well, an actual yo-yo, and now the star is said to be desperate to shed the two stone she’s reportedly gained (our picture of her looking much slimmer was taken around eight weeks ago). Apparently, Janet blames her weight gain on her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri filling the kitchen cupboards with pizza, fried chicken, chocolate and ice cream. However, it’s obvious that Janet is naturally curvy (and still looks pretty hot whatever her size, when she scrubs up and doesn’t cover up her womanly bits like this, anyway) so we wish she’d just embrace it and stop putting herself through torture to drop the pounds. After all, it was only a couple of years ago that she rapidly gained and then lost four stone – all this fluctuation can’t be good for her, can it?

We love it when celebs do silly things...

Where would you find Miley Cyrus, McFly, George Sampson, Ne-Yo, Kelly Osbourne and Fall Out Boy all under the same roof? Well, all these big-name stars, plus a host of others, took part in the BBC Switch Live concert in London last Sunday and, naturally, heatworld has all the gossip from behind the scenes. We were very happy to find that Miley Cyrus was loads of fun. As well as doing an hilarious impression in the above clip, the actress and singer also made time to stop and chat to all her fans – even when they flagged down her people carrier. Bless. We also think George Sampson might have a little crush... He couldn't resist running up to a bewildered Kelly Osbourne and giving her a sneaky kiss. Then again, she didn't seem to mind very much. At one point the Britain's Got Talent winner even suggested trying to do a backflip stunt up against a nearby wall, but he was thankfully talked out of it. McFly were on cracking form as always, and Danny got the crowd screaming with some rather vigorous crotch-grabbing action – ooer Mister! One of the definite backstage highlights was all the celebs doing their best impressions of various famous folk. Wait until you see Ne-Yo's impression of George Sampson, and Dougie McFly does a great Chris from Family Guy. It's almost as good as being backstage yourself. Jamie:'Brangelina's inspired me to adopt'

Jamie Oliver has revealed that he would love to add a little baby boy to his brood of girls… and that he’d consider adopting if he couldn’t conceive one naturally. The celebrity chef said that he’s been inspired by no other than Brad and Ange’s patchwork family after he met the couple, who have three adopted children amongst their biological kids. The 33-year-old said: “If I can’t produce a boy I will have to adopt one.  We have two beautiful, healthy girls and we cherish them. But I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be great to have a boy.”
