- Blast from the past
It's got one of my favorite album covers. The songs range from something easy to all out rock n roll. The 70's ended well because of music like this.

- classic metal and more.
Among nazareth fans this is probably the most loved of their cds. I have everything they put out including numerous versions on cd of their catalog so I would say that I really like nazareth! And this one is my favorite cd by this group for certain. I do think that they had many great songs ahead of them and that even when they experimented with newwavish sounds that those later 80's cds were decent mainly and mostly enjoyable; that this one did everything that you wanted nazareth to do and it did it better. Songs like 'simple solution' , 'may the sunshine" the ballad 'star' and other tracks are prime hard rock and they are best of all melodic even on the metal songs. although nazareth was really just a hard rockin rock and roll band not a metal band they can do that with the best of them and play very well too ,unlike some modern metal. This version has a unreleased instrumental which is not a rocker but is very interesting. (snaefell). Prime rock from one of rocks most underrated and great hard rock mainly bands this one satisfies in every regard. The next one had more rock pop on it but it's still a great cd by the way. "malice in wonderland' their last great effort although the rest of their catalog since is pretty good often. But this one is great, just as 'loud and proud' , 'hair of the dog' , 'rampant' , 'razamanaz' , 'expect no mercy' , 'close enough for rock and roll' ,'exercises" (yes I think it's great music) ,'malice in wonderland' and 'play n the game' were too but this outshines them all except 'hair of the dog' in overall greatness. get this one and any of the others and sit back to great rock and roll with a harder edge often. This one or 'hair of the dog' should be at the top of the list. then if your like me grab the enjoyable 80's-present music. and each release other than the ones I named have some really great songs on them but none are as done as well as this one was.

- A Nazareth must have.
This is a dark and sinister album of clever lyrics and emotive chugging heavy guitar work. A serious effort into heavy metal.

The item was received exactly as advertised. Brand new, still sealed in the plastic. Even contained bonus track I was unaware of!
