Disco de Nazareth: “Hair of the Dog Live”

This was taken from the same show that the dvd was. Most of the songs sound pretty good but this is NOT the same stuff from 'snaz' which was done with really good recording equipment. That's the live one to get. And you can get lots of bbc stuff from the band live in the early days. A few songs on here seem almost bootleg quality , clear and honest but not as loud as the rest of the disc. This is one you get when you grab the other naz cd's and other live shows. However this is good music and worth owning , if you like nazareth( a fantastic hard rockin band) and think you may want to collect them like I do. Then you better buy this as it will go out of print. otherwise grab snaz first or some other bbc disc or two , then this one as those are generally better produced and not taken from film stock soundtrack like this one is. It's great because it's nazareth , but it's not as good as the regular releases out there.

The last time I saw Nazareth live was in 1979 at the Texas Jam. This is the best recording I've ever heard from them. I've played it for a few friends and they want a copy now. If you're a Nazarth fan then you will like this.

I purchase this CD caus it is a live concert and it plays well on my system, the audio and the recording is not that bad

Why don't these guys put out a live CD from 1973-1974, before they went soft? There are tons of live stuff from 1980-81, with the same song list. They are probably using the same tapes from the 'Snaz live album.
