Who Isn’t a Fan of “Reality Bites”? New Found Glory Wave Their Lisa Loeb Flag High More proof that nearly every red-blooded American was obsessed (guiltily or not) with Lisa Loeb’s “Stay” when it blew up off the Reality Bites soundtrack in 1994: Last night at New York’s Nokia Theatre, New Found Glory’s Jordan Pundik proved his loyalty to the bespectacled singer by bringing her up as a “special guest” to play the song in the middle of their show. As the crowd went nuts, lead guitarist Chad Gilbert discussed his belief that everyone gets a crush on Loeb at one point or another in their lives. Trent Debunks Myth That Drugs Breed Creativity, Major Networks To Compete With YouTube, And More Trent Reznor has spoken very candidly about the extent to which drugs impaired his ability to create music, saying: “I had made writing out to be a terrifying prospect filled with pain and failure and some things that I dreaded doing because I’ve always lacked self-confidence and every other thing. By the end of my run with drugs I’d also realised that my brain wasn’t functioning right and I’d lost the power to really concentrate – it really made my art suffer, which made me feel worse, which made me want to get high and you know, that cycle starts up.” Now that he’s sober, Reznor says, he’s finally learned how to write on the road, which makes him even more productive than he’s ever been before. YouTube is coming under increasing fire as Viacom moves forward with their $1 billion lawsuit against the site and NBC Universal and Fox announce that major shows like 24, House, and Heroes will now be available on the networks’ own YouTube-like Web sites. This way they can control the internet market for their shows, and get in on the online advertising dollar. New Found Glory, who’ve released five albums on an assortment of labels, claim their most recent breakup with Geffen records wasn’t much of a shock and they aren’t particularly upset. Foxy Brown - who has worked long and hard these last few years to develop a Naomi Campbell-like record of abusing the help - missed a court date in Florida yesterday and an arrest warrant has been issued for the troubled diva.

Trump Courts Ageist Claims, Rosie Back on AttackForget Rosie O'Donnell. Donald Trump has found a much less famous--but much more litigious--foe. A 49-year-old New Hampshire man has filed an age discrimination lawsuit against the Apprentice host, claiming he was denied a shot at reality show glory after being deemed too old. According to the New York Post, Joseph Hewett, who filed the suit in Massachusetts federal court Thursday, claims he was given the casting brush-off after a preliminary interview in 2005 simply because of his not quite target demographic age.
