- More Addictive than Nicotine
I just love this band's sound. It gets trapped in your brain and leaves you wanting more and more...the rare times when I'm not listening to OAR, I'm humming their songs in my head. Beautiful. Timeless. Classic. Reminds me of old DMB meets old BNL (think Rock Spectacle) mixed with a touch of Sublime.

- The Revolution Has Begun
This is simply an amazing CD! Their first single, Hey Girl, is simple but upbeat with a great groove. Right on Time is probably my favorite song on the disc, but they're seriously all amazing. Their last studio release was a tad overproduced, but this one came out perfect... It's a must add to your collection.

- In between now & then
This CD jams. If you like Blues Traveler, Marley, DMB or other melodic jam bands, you will like these guys!

- The Best New Band in Town!
OAR is by far my favorite new band of the year. They've been around for quite some time and are popular in the midwest but I've just discovered them here in the east. I haven't found a bad track on this album; it's the kind of roll-down-your-windows music that can be played over and over again.

- Though it's admittedly kind of cheesy in spots, this is still a classic jam band album! You'll have lots of fun with it.
O.A.R. is kind of a cheesy jam band (their lyrics are usually pretty bad), but they still deliver some quality tunes. Every track here is fun to listen to, and in the end that's essentially the most important thing. What's great about this album, specifically, is that the production is great - everything is crystal clear even on a low-quality sound file. Marc Roberge also does a pretty good job with the vocals. Musically it's pretty standard jam band material, but every track is catchy with a great hook. If you love jam bands chances are you'll love O.A.R.'s "In Between Now & Then". "Hey Girl" and "James" are definitely GREAT tunes which definitely bumps it up to a "5" from a "4.5". All the pros definitely far outweigh what cons there are here (which aren't many). Highly recommended!
