Disco de Oasis: “Hindu Times”

It reminds me of "supersonic" quite a bit. To the people who have been slaggin it off for its simplicity, they don't have a point. What makes THT special is the way the riff flows along with the acoustic and electric guitar. I like the way the sound is crisp n clear and not overproduced(or distorted) like some oasis rockers. It goes back to the basics, I guess that is why it reminds me of "supersonic". Now with the b-sides; "Just Gettin Older" is Noel showing that he is turning into a more mature and classy writer. "Idler's Dream" is in my list of best oasis songs. It is just class, one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in my whole life. I was speechless the first time I heard it. "Idler's Dream" is worth buying the single. Their latest album has a lot of better songs than THT, GREAT first single though.

This is the sound of what the music world has been missing. This is a true uplifting, fists in the air sing-along that weve all needed, not that unoriginal drivel of creed and the like. This is real passion , real sweat , and more importantly real rock and roll. The guitars are soaring the vocals are powerful and the tune is pure gallagher class. And of course as always with oasis the price of the single is worth it for the b-sides alone. Getting older is a wonderful noel sung tune, very personel. Idlers dream is pure beauty, showing that soft side of the galleghers thats makes oasis such a captivating band. Welcome back boys.

this is one of the best singles that oasis have released in their history, it's a good sign of their forthcoming album, they offer only rock 'n' roll, a music that has been forgotten in this world. Buy it, it'll be such a good investment!!!

The Hindu Times restores my faith that rock and roll still exists. With all of the hoopla surrounding this boyband/teeny bopper/ rap craze in American Pop Culture, it's nice to know that there is at least one band out there who is dedicated in putting out pure rock and roll music. Listeners won't be dissapointed for the long-awated new single, in fact they will be left wanting more. And they'll get it - In July when the fifth studio album titled Heathen Chemistry is released.

For all the true Oasis fans out there, I don't have to tell you how great this first single is. For everyone else, I would definitely recommend that you add this to your collection. "Hindu Times" is pure rock and roll, classic Oasis. "Idler's Dream," a beautiful B-side from Noel, made me cry the first time I heard it, and "Getting Older," another great B-side from Noel, show the band's true diversity and talent...among other things. A great preview for "Heathen Chemistry." Hopefully, this will give Oasis some of the attention they deserve here in the States.
