Disco de Oasis: “Familiar to Millions Highlights”

The single disc version of "Familiar To Millions" is way better than the bloated 2-disc edition. All the fat is trimmed here like "Helter Skelter" and Noel's Neil Young thing. Plus, at 74 minutes, you can leave it on and enjoy a great Oasis concert, rather than having to change discs to hear the rest. And, the sound quality seems to be much better than the US double disc. Highly recommended.

This CD is just a UK only highlight's compilation into 13 tracks on 1 disc from the original Familiar To Millions 2 disc 18 track CD that was released in the USA & the UK. It is a different color and features a sticker on the front to promote their "10 years of Noise and Confusion" mini tour of the UK.

If you are a hardcore oasis fan & collector like me, you should get this one to complete your collection. If you just want an oasis concert on CD get the original 2-disc release, or even better get the DVD, both are available on amazon.com (and are cheaper than this import!) I gave this one 4 stars only because it was sort of re-hashing the other release, and I would give the first one 5 stars.

Note for collectors - It could be argued that this disc was the fist release from Noel's Big Brother label, instead of Sony/Epic having a hand in it and therefore a sort of "test-run" of the Big Brother system so that gives it more improtance!
