Imagine a soulfull kiss. Imagine the grief of deep loss and crying... Now put the two together. Each note builds a phrase builds a verse builds a song. And we never want it to end. Layers of guitars. Short elegant solos. Lines and counter lines. A beautiful woven fabric. A swirl of color. A lament of lost love. These things are "Don't Look Back in Anger." Whether or not Noel had any serious meaning behind his lyrics, I do not know. I would tend to think he did. But that doesn't matter. Art calls us to bring out our inner meaning. We will never see through the eyes of another. We each decide our own meaning and purpose. "Don't Look Back in Anger" is, for me, a work of art. Textured, flowing, and alive. It is simply the most beautiful song ever written.

Don't Look Back In Anger is a great song, but this is currently the only way to find the studio version of Step Out and a cover of Slade's Cum On Feel The Noize, both of which are great songs. This is worth the purchase for those two songs alone. Underneath The Sky can be found on The Masterplan and Don't Look Back In Anger can be found everywhere.

This song is an absolute masterpiece. From the Lennonesque piano intro, to Noel Gallaghers brilliant vocals and superb guitar playing, this song is pure brilliance throughout.

I love the band,and always will.This is a great example of the creativity of theese five young men.Ialso think that it was a great idea for them to put Noel in the vocal position for this song(Don't Look Back in Anger).If you like what you hear with this single,you'll also like the three other albums,Definately Maybe,(What's the Story)Morning Glory,and Be Here Now.
