This, the first live release from OCS, is an energetic live set from the lads. It is a bit rough at times and the sound quality, while still very good, could have been better given the year it was recorded. The band is both tight and a bit loose at times. Simon Fowler's voice strains on occasion but overall they are in fine form and this disc is a great deal of fun. It is always a pleasure to listen to Steve Cradock in a live context be it with OCS or with Paul Weller. He seems to come from the George Harrison school of guitar artistry, where every note counts. Where I prefer their studio work, this is still a worthy addition to any OCS fan's collection.
