Disco de Randy Rogers Band: “Randy Rogers Band”
Descripción (en inglés) :
The Randy Rogers Band: Randy Rogers (vocals, acoustic guitar); Geoffrey Hill (vocals, electric guitar); Jon Richardson (bass guitar); Les Lawless (drums); Brady Black.
Personnel: Brady Black (vocals, fiddle); Jessi Alexander, Jon Randall, Todd Cooper, Sean McConnell (vocals); Eric Borash (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, lap steel guitar, baritone guitar, dobro, mandolin); Radney Foster (acoustic guitar, electric guitar); Clayton E. Corn (Hammond b-3 organ, Wurlitzer organ, keyboard); Craig Krampf (percussion).
Recording information: Dockside Studios, Maurice, LA.
A honky-tonk good time from one of country's most dependable acts, this self-titled set by the Randy Rogers Band shows the group at their best. Produced by new traditionalist country mainstay Radney Foster, RANDY ROGERS BAND features 12 tough, scrappy country-rock songs that eschew formulaic "all my rowdy friends" type cliches. As a result, songs like "Never Be That High," "When The Circus Leaves Town," and "Wicked Ways" at times sound like nothing quite so much as contemporary country's version of the early albums by Bruce Springsteen or Tom Petty.

- Randy Rogers Band should be famous.

This latest CD isn't their best, but it's darned good. The Randy Rogers Band doesn't get nearly enough attention.

- Best album yet from Randy

If you like Texas Honky Tonk music, you'll love this CD. I've played in 20 times in the month I've owned it and still love it!

- Too good to pass by

While I agree with some of the reviewers, this is a good album by a good band. This may be an attempt to put their music out to other listeners besides us lucky Texans. I have listened to The Randy Rogers Band since their introduction and with every listen to this album I like them even more.

If you like Randy Rogers sound then get it without a doubt. We should all be so blessed if this should hit the "mainstream".

- AMAZING

The new CD is amazing. I just downloaded it to my Zune! I am so pleased with all the tracks and my favorite is "one woman and never be that high". You won't be disappointed with this CD. BUY ITTTTT!

- Disappointing

This band has so much potential and they're throwing it away. This is by far the worst album that they have put out. This band is trying too hard to become mainstream country while holding on to the Texas sound they originally had. The result is a mess. This CD is nothing more than fluff from the Country-Pop genre. I want my country music to sound country. If you want to hear this band at their best check out the CD Like It Used To Be. It's a shame to lose another band from the proud Texas Country genre.
