- Cool song, but not so necessary anymore

This single was a very nice find months ago because Soul To Squeeze was not released on any Chili Peppers albums, but only on the Coneheads movie soundtrack (or on the Live Rare Remix Box, which is now rare and pretty expensive considering it has about 15 tracks into 3 CD's). So anyway, now with the Greatest Hits compilation it doesn't seem such a necessary buy. However, the song is certainly cool and it has a special melancholic ring because it came out after John Frusciante had left the band, so it's just 3 members on the video. The b-side live version of Nobody Weird Like Me was a classic live performance from 1989-1993 and when John came back in 1998, so it can be found on many bootlegs, and even the same version. It is still a great song and it works for a b-side.

- A classic, one of their best melo-songs EVER

I don't understand why Soul to Squeeze never blew up like under the bridge did. I dont know, i never really hear about this song much at all, its an overlooked essential that is incredibly good, (too good for not being on an album) and the video is even better. I love the bass and guitar work on this song, and Anthony's voice is awesome; theres really no other way to describe it. He hits such tricky tones and its like he can manuevar his voice in thousands of directions. If anybody else agrees with me, please write a review. ;)

******I have this cd single and it is great music! I believe, "Soul to Squeeze" by all accounts, should definately rank in RHCP's top ten songs ever written and played. I enjoy to hear them live, (just as good as recorded!), "Nobody Weird" has the signature of a very talented inventive, original band. Keep on rockin'!******

- Nice Collectable

Originally a B-side, this contains the title track on the A-side & Nobody Weird Like Me on the B-side(also avalible on compact disc format) & is great to collect. Has cardboard case with same artwork as cd. Also on the Coneheads movie soundtrack & the Greatest Hits and Videos, the Plasma Shaft, Live Rare Remix Box & b-sides to other various singles during the Blood Sugar Sex Magik era.

- Soul to Squeeze __ Red Hot Chili Peppers

I love the zepher song and soul to squeeze is, in many ways, so similiar. I am surprised they were written 10 years apart. I don't sit down with a CD, my loss, I hunt for perfect songs. I assumed they were released at the same time. Anybody would love these songs.
