This is pretty simple. Triple Feature collects three of REO Speedwagon's early albums in one cheap package. You get 1973's Ridin' the Storm Out, 1979's Nine Lives and 1982's Good Trouble in this set. These are the original Epic CDs in new packaging, not remasters or reissues. They aren't as essential as Hi Infidelity or You Can Tune a Piano But You Can't Tuna Fish, but they're all solid albums that have some real AOR gems.
The packaging on this set is pretty lousy. They come in a tri-fold cardboard sleeve that's slimmer than the average CD jewel box, and good luck getting the discs out without scratching them. I ended up using slimline jewel cases when I shelved them. It's also missing liner notes, so if you're interested in seeing more than just the track listings, you're out of luck.
The REO Speedwagon Triple Feature collection may not be flashy, but if you're missing one/two/all of these old albums, it's the cheapest way to get them on CD all in one shot.
