- Glad they re-released "Lost in a Dream"
I think "Lost in a Dream" is one of R.E.O.'s most underrated albums and am glad to see they re-released it. Not really a die hard fan, I saw them multiple times in the 70's. Always felt they were a great concert band. "You Get What You Play For" has always been my favorite. Mainly a collection of their early songs done right - live.
This collection is definately worth owning. Add R.E.O Speeedwagon/R.E.O./Two and you have the complete early (and best) years.
- Mike Murphy
I had been trying to acquire this for some time. I was a REO fan without Kevin Cronin. They just seemed smoother with Murphy's lead singing and I found it a shame that this combination did not continue. Oh well, I'm sure I'm in the the minority here but this is when the band was at it's best IMO. Absolutely love Lost in a Dream and Down by the Dam.

- No Kevin
why won't they rerelease the original R t s o, album that has the original Kevin Cronin vocals? They were not erased, and two have been released, "son of a poor man" which was released on various hits cds, and the title track has been released on the "Rockband" Game. even though they Fired Kevin before the album was released, they should have just released it as is instead of replacing the vocals with Mike murphy's twang vocals.Especially since Kevin Cronin ended up replacing Murphy anyways , and the live version of the title track became the hit.
