- Fully Charged

Amazing Things is one of Runrig's more vigorous offerings. Featuring Donnie Munro's excellent voice in full flight, the songs pack a lot of punch, from the opening, title track to the fine Celtic rock strains of "Ard", a real favorite. "Pog Aon Oidche Earraich" is a beautifully done Gaelic ballad, and "Sraidean Na Roinn-Eorpa" has a real emotional pull to it. "Forever Eyes of Blue", sung by Runrig's other singer, one of the MacDonald fellows, is very lyrical and rhythmic. Overall, this is a confidently superb album, with many tracks that stand out.

To those who haven't heard Runrig, this is a great place to start. Reaching across cultural and musical barriers with their sound and words, they reach deep in the heart. Uplifting stuff!

Amazing Things is by far one of the best albums that i have ever heard, and the songs are typical of Runrig: beautiful, deep and thoroughly enjoyable. Donnie Munro's powerful and soulful vocals are joined by the fantastic guitar riffs of Malcolm Jones, and there is no section of this band that fails to pull its weight musically. From the inspirational tracks such as "Ard" (high), or "Move a Mountain" the Macdonald brothers express their faith and desire that the world will move into a better age, where all humanity can enjoy what they have been given. this album is easily the most exciting and enjoyable album that Runrig have ever produced, and is recommendable to anyone who enjoys music.

- Amazing...what more can be said!

For those who aren't familiar with the Celtic Rock group, Runrig, this is a good way to start. Mixing traditional Celtic tunes with rock is just an awesome, thumping good time. I have seen it happen at a party...everyone, young and old alike, on the dance floor, moving to the beat. Truly, Runrig is amazing!

Great Scottish band, you have to understand Skye to enjoy the music. Just listen and enjoy..
