- Good but not great

If you like the more recent hits of the Scorpions like Rhythm of Love and Wind of Change, then this CD is worth the money. However, if you are buying this CD for the songs on disk 1, then I might suggest looking at World Wide Live. WWL has more energy and excitement. It feels like you are really at a Scorpions concert.

- reminder of greatnesxs

this two cd set contains the classic songs like "rock you like a hurricane" to "no one like you" and two previously unrealeased songs.

- GERMAN ROCKERS BEST

This is a very complete package filled with some of the best material ever recorded by this double guitar based band. These tunes remind us of a time when hair and drive-in kisses were the norm. Well worth the price!!!!

- Perfect Scorpions Restrospective!

An ideal place to start for the people who want to get into this awesome hard rock group! Included here on two discs are thirty-three awesome songs that cover the albums "Lovedrive" (1979), "Animal Magnetism" (1980), "Blackout" (1982), "Love At First Sting" (1984), "World Wide Live" (1985), "Savage Amusement" (1988), "Carzy World" (1990), "Face The Heat" (1993), and "Love Bites" (1995). All tracks were remastered and the best thing is the fact that two new recordings were added: "Over The Top" and "Life Goes Around" which are fine pieces of hard rock!

Highlights? Well, things start great with the rocker "Loving You Sunday Morning" that features guitar playing from Rudolph Schenker, his brother Michael, and Matthias Jabs. What a combination that is! Things get only better and better afterwards with the haunting ballad "Holiday", or more hard rock like "Make It Real", "The Zoo", "Dynamite" etc. I really enjoyed the live take of the instrumental "Coast To Coast", their version of the Who's "I Can't Explain", and of course one of their biggest hits in "Wind Of Change". Also a really cool live version of the Uli Roth era song "In Trance" is included!

So, like I said, this is a perfect choice if you would like to get into The Scorpions! But don't forget to check out the Uli Jon Roth years!

Thanks for taking the time to read!
