Simple minds have released some very outstanding music. They continue to push the envelop with new projects like Graffiti Soul. Themes 1 - 5 box set is wonderfully packaged. The music is great for a fan, but over all, for the price, the cds are too short. Yes, there are 25 CDs, but each only has two - four songs. This is a really cool set if you are a fan and enjoy CD art and packaging. I would have to say that you would have to be a huge fan of Simple Minds to find the value here. If you want some value, make sure you have kept up with this bands CDs. Neapolis is fantastic, CRY, Back & White 050505, and Graffiti Soul all rock. I am unsure why this band does not continue a more robust following in the states. The bottom line, invest in the bands primary discography before delving into Themes 1-5.
