Disco de Simple Plan: “Big Package for You: 1999-2003 [Clean] [Bonus CD]”

As one of the band members says near the start of the DVD, you know what kind of music they like, you know the sort of things they like to sing about. This DVD is to give a little insight into the band members.

The DVD contains about 2 1/2 hours of following the guys on their travels from recording studio, to tour, to vacation, to tour, and so on. There's a lot of practical joking, fooling around, the guys acting like guys. There's a definite feel that the average viewer would fit in real nice with the members of Simple Plan. The idea is that fame and success hasn't changed them, even if they get to go to faraway countries and stay in nice hotels now.

Contains the four Simple Plan music videos, which are nice to have. The DVD contains a chapter on the making of each one of them, which is interesting to hear about.

Perhaps the best bonus is the included CD, "A Small Package for You," which included the new song, "Crash and Burn", as well as live versions of "One Day" and "I'd Do Anything" recorded in Orlando in September. A few postcards showing scenes from Simple Plan's tour (there's a nice one of them before 60,000 at Giants Stadium) are included.

So it's good value for money. It's a good buy or present for the Simple Plan fan.

I pre-ordered the "A Big Package For You" DVD through Simple Plan's website, ecstatic to be able to get it early and at a great price. It came later than projected (12-4 to be exact), however, after watching the DVD, I forgot about the long wait for it to come! This DVD is jam-packed with funny moments of the Simple Plan boys globetrotting and just having fun. Each section of this DVD keeps you laughing and leaves you wanting more. The DVD has not only the movie part, but the bonus scenes (and there's a -lot- of those), their complete video collection as of now, and so much more! Some of the best parts of the DVD are the spring break part, the Warped Tour '03 part, and of course, one of the best parts would be the super bonus Patrick Cunningham part on the bonus section! Every member of Simple Plan, and yes, Patrick, too, are hilarious, and this DVD is a great buy if you want comedy and you're into Simple Plan's music. I'm even going out and buying another copy for a friend, because it's just that funny! Everyone should buy this DVD today, because this is definitely one of the best DVD's from any band yet!

I've been a Simple Plan for a long time so when I found out they were going to release a DVD, I thought 'I have to have this!' So for my birthday my parents bought it for me. And I must say, well worth *their* money. If you have a younger Simple Plan fan, I suggest you pre-watch it before allowing your kid to see this, due to some explict content. And also, view it with them.

This DVD contains everything from an intro on who the guys are to recording "No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls" to hitting the road with SP. There's a lot of just plain goofing off which is really funny. No matter what their doing they always make you smile.

If you haven't already check out "No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls" and pick up "Still Not Getting Any..." on October 26th. Still not conviced that Simple Plan isn't awesome? (...)

I received A Big Package for You this afternoon, and despite its small size, it is quite the big package it claims. Jam-packed with more than two-and-a-half hours of hilarious footage of the Canadian pop-punkers, it is certainly a great buy for fans. If you aren't a big supporter of Simple Plan, you might not enjoy, but the antics of the quintet are certainly a bonus for loyal listeners as we anticipate the upcoming world tour. Also included is the CD single of their latest recording, the track 'Crash and Burn,' which is accompanied by two live recordings, 'One Day' and 'I'd Do Anything,' both from a show in Orlando, Florida. A must-have for any fan of the lighter side of punk rock.

All right, now I'm not just saying this because I'm a huge fan of these five kids, but this was a hilarious DVD.

The guys had me and my friends cracking up all over the world, whether they were writing dirty messages on hotel billboards, getting tackled by Avril Lavigne, or talking about their penises.

This DVD did have a lot of language on it though, so if you don't like that or aren't comfortable with it, get the edited version. Also, there was a lot of nudity, though they always found a way to cover their "packages" before Pat caught them on camera.

This was a great DVD and would make a great gift, I know we've all enjoyed it a lot.
