- Something that needs to be said.

Ok I don't want to start any flame wars but I've noticed something lately on Amazon. You people may sit here and complain about "That Pop crap" or other comments based on lyrics. I would like you to do something for me and it will only take a second. Think of the people bands like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and the like are targeting. They are aiming to rope in teens who don't care if the "Band sounds tight" or how "Flowing the lyrics are." These kids want to listen to music they can relate to. In the lyrics, they want to be able to identify with what is being sung. They want to know that other people are experiencing the same ups and downs as they are. If you don't like the subject matter then don't buy the cd. If the lyrics aren't inteligent enough then don't listen. You can't have inteligent and thought prevoking lyrics for kids to listen to. The fact is bands like SP are hear to caitor to the younger generation. I read countliss reviews that bash a band. Hey they aren't out to be completely serious. If you want that, go to the indy labels. I just don't understand why people knock certain music when it's clear who the target audience is. It's like someone going to a commedy who never laughs. It just makes no sense. Just so you know, I don't think the CD is great but it accomplished what it set out to do. Give the teens something to listen to. Sorry for the rant.

- you should love this album...Simple Plan RULE!

Impressed by the first album?? Then you should love Still Not Getting Any. Like any album, it has its ups and downs, but thankfully, Simple Plan know how to entertain.

1: Shut up! This is a very upbeat song, and is similar to material on the first album, enjoyable, but not repeatedly enjoyable. 3.5/5

2: Welcome to My life: The first single off an album usually gets annoying after a while, but this is too good a song to get bored of! 5/5

3: Perfect World: This is a prime example of Simple Plan's growing maturity. They talk about something real here, and is one of the best songs on the album. 5/5 a FAVOURITE!

4: Thankyou: A song that grows on you after time. This is a dip in the album, and a song that can be skipped. 2.5/5

5: Me against the World: At first i wasn't too keen on this song, but the chorus completly makes up for it. A great song, darker but better. 4.5/5

6: Crazy: This song talks about girls wanting to be like modals, and pretty much why they think this is crazy lol. But a cute song, that is a lot more better than you first might think. The music is brilliant in this song. 4.5/5

7: Jump: This has to be the worst song on the album, and i don't know whether its the fact that they're all repeatedly shouting Jump or not...but hey i know what the bloody song is called! an unpressive 2/5

8:Everytime:For some reason, this song reminds me of christmas?! a slow tempo, and relaxed rocky ballad. 4/5

9: Promises: Theres always a song you can never remember, and its this one. Still a good try though, 3.5/5

10: One: I love this song! Its slow, and yet tis rocky! totally loving it! Again, i think the music behind it is great, and really makes the song better. 5/5 a FAVOURITE!

11: Untitled: Now is this the name, or the fact that they were too lazy to make one up?You can figure that one out. This song is this albums 'perfect' and although simplistic,SP try to make it different with all those strings in the background, and it works on a level. Its a great song though, and gets in your head for ages. Just wish it was longer:( 5/5. a FAVOURITE!

Simple Plan rule!

- This CD is AMAZING.

Wow...where do I begin with this album?

Well first off, I think it's amazing and I love it to pieces. All of the songs are great and there's not a track on here that I don't like or love. Pierre's voice, their musical ablities, as well as some other things have really improved, even though they were already really great before.

I think that they've done an amazing job on this album and it's just...wow. I haven't been able to stop listening to it since the day it came out. The lyrics and music are great and so is the DVD, although I think the making of the record section should have been more than just 20 minutes. But all-in-all, this CD is awesome and I HIGHLY recommend this.

I'm going to give a low-down on what I thought of all the songs on here:

Shut Up! - Second song I heard off of here and one of my favorites.

Welcome to My Life - First song I heard off of here and also another of my favorites. When I first heard it, I was like, "Wow, is that Simple Plan??", as lame as it may sound. But I became hooked on it and couldn't wait till the whole CD came out. I'll admit, this song had made me cry before.

Perfect World - One of my favorites. Love the lyrics.

Thank You - I can totally relate to that song, as can a lot of people also.

Me Against the World - Great lyrics.

Crazy - "Is everybody going crazy?" I also wonder about the things that are mentioned in here.

Jump - One of my favorites. I can also relate to that song.

Everytime - The lyrics are awesome on this song. It made me kind of sad when I first heard it/read the lyrics.

Promise - Personally my favorite track on the CD. I love the lyrics and Jeff's solo on here is mind-blowing.

One - Personally not one of my favorites but still an awesome song.

Untitled - Another one of my favorites. I love the lyrics and the piano/strings/etc. Definitely one of the best songs they've ever done.

So if you haven't already gotten Still Not Getting Any..., no wonder you're still not getting any! Just kidding. Sorry, that was lame. But what are you waiting for? Go out and get it!

- STOP THE LABELS!!

Come on, people, why does everyone call Simple Plan posers? They do what they like to do...if you don't like it, don't listen to it! Stop labeling bands. I don't understand why it matters what genre bands are, as long as they have good music. Simple Plan has some talent, and I totally respect that. What bugs me is when people only like music because they want to impress people by saying they like it. THAT is the true definition of "poser" in my opinion. Simple Plan has good lyrics that kids and teens can relate too, and they are great at doing what they do. So lay off at saying how bad they are supposedly. Buy this album...if you aren't some prissy 13 year-old Britney-Spears-loving girl, I almost guarantee you'll love it! I'n 13, but I appreciate real music. NOT 50 Cent, NOT Britney Spears...people who write their own lyrics and, preferably, play their own instruments.

- Simple Plan-Back With A Vengence...

This CD was pretty much what I expected after hearing the first single "Welcome to my life". They've really matured since "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls" (Although the title doesn't reflect on that), and it really shows in their music. It almost sounds like the guys of SP wanted to show the world they could be serious musicians and STILL be pop-punk . The formula is the same, with sing-along chorus' and tightknit verses, but lyrically its a little better than their debut, IMO. On a different subject, I'm not a huge fan of the duel disc idea. It plays just fine in my car stereo, but on my sony walkman, it skips really badly. I would have like an enhanced CD better, but w/e, its still great...
