Simply Red Album: “Very Best of Simply Red”

I just bought this cd to add to my growing collection of "must haves". It brings back wonderful memories and is a very thorough, comprehensive collection of Simply Red hits, it's just missing a couple of favs, hence the 4 stars.

A few years ago I saw a special on TV featuring "Simply Red". Until then I only knew a few of their songs. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful voice of the lead singer "Red". One of my favorite sets that contains two CD's with 37 songs. Great talent!

My collection would not be complete without these 2 CDs. Creating a two CD collection which consist of three decades of great work is pure musical packaging genius. Listening to the songs one after another is an endless pleasurable experience in which the music of Simply Red forever pulsates through your memory.

Granted, there are still some pieces missing but having: "Stars", "It's Only Love" "Heaven", "Love for Sale" and more, makes a simply priceless collection.

It is the very best of Mick and the boys or as it is expressed on the cover: "the music speaks for itself, but then Mick Hucknall always knew it would"

Awesome CD full of hits and remixes. Love it!
