For Simply Red, they really seemed to have it all during the 1980's. Still, when it comes to their big songs, nothing seems to make it all better than a simple classic to take time away. That really came in the case of If You Don't Know Me By Now. The song remains as their biggest hit in the U.S., and sadly one of their last songs to chart over here in the states. The song was a remake of the original hit by The Blue Notes. What Simply Red seems to have in this version is the simplicity of the music, and the message. Still, I hope that Mick Hucknall and the other members can hit it big here again soon. We do know them by now, hopefully?
