- Undisputed Attitude

Slayer-Undisputed Attitude ***

It's far from being one of their best or strongest albums. In fact it is somewhere near the bottom of the list. Even for a cover album this seems weak. It is loud, and fast, and powerful yes but many of the tracks sound like noise.

As a massive fan of punk, and hardcore I was excited when I heard about this one. I was dissapointed needles to say. Araya is out of control here and it doesn't seem like he is really into the songs, whats more is you can't understand a single thing he says during most of the tracks.

All is not lost though. The Minor Threat cover 'Guilty Of Being White' is fantastic as is the reworking of The Stooges 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' which they change to 'I Wanna Be Your God' is true Slayer fashion. Also the single original track on the album 'Gemini' is a rare classic in the bands cannon.

Not the best or most satisfying Slayer album out there but for true fans it will be a treat.

- Good Concept...

You would assume Slayer covering punk tunes would really be a logical idea even if you aren't into punk. It just simply ends up not being good. The one original song on here "Gemini" gives you a good indication of what direction their next couple albums was gonna take. I gave two stars, one for "Gemini" and one for a good idea poorly executed.

This is an amazing album. I like Slayer in most of their albums. This album is totally different then their other but i dont care about this fact. The adrenaline is so high in this album (you have to hear it). They play punk songs but they are soooooooooooooo good that you will love them. If you have an open mind you will sure like them. They have amazing tracks like Free money - I hate you - Sick boy - Mr freeze - violent pacification - Richard hung himself - im gonna be your god - and one of their most heavy and best songs ever -> Gemini (really good track). Just buy this album.

- Slayer at thier best.

This is my favorite slayer release, and those are big words considering their catalog. It consists entirely of covers and a couple of tunes that were side projects of Jeff Hanneman.
