
Hatebreed to release covers albumConnecticut hardcore bruisers Hatebreed have revealed that they will be releasing a 18-track covers album through Century Media later this year. For The Lions will be released in the UK on May 11. "I speak on behalf of all of us and we support Sean's decision to leave and want him to be happy and successful at everything he does," says frontman Jamey Jasta. "There are no bad feelings at all and you'll probably see him hanging on stage at some of our local shows. We're family and he will be missed but Hatebreed will forge on!"

Apocalyptica get set for star-studded new albumApocalyptica, the Finnish cello quartet, will release their seventh studio album on August 23. 7th Symphony will feature guest appearances from former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, Shinedown's Brent Smith, Slayer's Dave Lombardo, Flyleaf's Lacey Mosely and Gojira's Joseph Duplantier. Slayer name new albumSlayer axe-man Kerry King has revealed that the band's upcoming 10th studio release will be titled World Painted Blood. The album, which is being produced by Greg Fidelman (Marilyn Manson, Metallica, System Of A Down), is due to be released later this year.
