Disco de Soda Stereo: “Comfort y Musica Para Volar (MTV Unplugged)”
 Descripción (en inglés) :
UNPLUGGED is an enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files, including interviews with the band members.
<p>Soda Stereo: Gustavo Cerati (vocals, acoustic & electric guitar); Zeta Bosio (acoustic guitar, bass, background vocals); Charly Alberti (drums, percussion).
<p>Additional personnel includes: Andrea Echeverri (vocals); Tweety Gonzalez (Fender Rhodes piano, synthesizer, programming); Iain Baker (keyboard).
<p>Recorded live on March 12, 1996 at MTV studios, Miami Beach, Florida.
<p>This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
<p>With an increasing incorporation of programming into their sound, what do these Argentine super-rockers sound like UNPLUGGED? Well, the group does bend the rules a bit with some keyboards and electric guitar. But the set certainly has the intimate, sedate quality that often accompanies the MTV-sponsored show. True to its subtitle, this recording is "Flying Music," drawing on the band's more expansive, intoxicating material from the '90s.
<p>"Te Para 3" ("Tea for Three") stands out for its bittersweet, bluesy guitar and organ, lilting string passages, and Cerati's lovely, mournful warble. The punky Andrea Echeverri of Aterciopelados does a guest duet with Cerati on "En La Ciudad De La Furia," a dreamy picture of nocturnal urban air travel. "Angel Electrico" has a grittier edge, with Cerati offering some piercing guitar riffs, while "Sonoman" is a hard-rocking, bleep-and-bloop electronica interlude.

- Soda Stereo Semi - acustico

- WOW!
2 months ago I was doing my chores late at night while listening to MTV en Espanol. I was bored and about to turn of the T.V until i heard the Incredible Unplugged version of "Entre Canibales" by soda stereo (a group that was unknown to me at the time)after being completely captivated by the song I then decided to by the album and quite frankly i was blown away by the incredible first seven unplugged songs, Here it the list
1. La ciudad de la furia- Beautiful! I would have paid the full 15 dollars for this song alone Absolutely brilliant! I really dig Andrea Echevarry's voice
2. Un Misil En mi placard- Excellent acoustic song, Incredibly pleasing to the ears.
3. Pasos- I love how Soda Stereo worked this song with a blend of the acoustic guitar and violins.
4. Entre Canibales- Song that started my craze for this wonderful group.
5. Te Para Tres- Lovely song, love the electric guitar near the end.
6. Angel Electrico- Great song I love How Gustavo Cerati ( Lead Singer) shows his passion for the electric guitar in this song, him and Zeta (Bassist) did a good job.
7. Ella uso mi cabeza como un revolver: Great song, I get fired up everytime I hear it!
GREAT UNPLUGGED: DEFINATELY PARA VOLAR!!!

- The best MTV unplugged ever!
Soda Stereo is considered the best south American band ever, and for good reason. This band never recorded a weak album, or weak song for that matter. Listening to this album you will be amazed by the creative talent of Cerati and the music that these guys turn out. Much better and different than Mana if you ask me.. Soda Stereo was always a step ahead of the pack. This MTV unplugged has great songs that you'll enjoy listening to over and over again. I also recommend dynamo and soda chau.
