Disco de Soft Cell: “Demo Non Stop”

Let's start with the album art...

On the plus side, it's about an eighth of a step up from its predecessor, The Bedsit Tapes... And, yet again, the designer (for some odd reason) thought that 2 pt. font in white was a good idea?... :/

I was so frustrated with the album cover for this and The Bedsit Tapes that, in iTunes, I changed the album art to cute photos of Marc and Dave that I found on Google images. So, problem solved!

Next, this CD is in a DIGIPAK case...bleh.

Third, unlike The Bedsit Tapes, this album doesn't have the songs atrociously organized and mixed together! All of the tracks begin and end where they should.

Fourth, this album only has 11 tracks, which is a bit puzzling because they could have EASILY included "I am 16," "Living for Today," "Purely Functional" (Vocal Version), and "Penthouse Pet." But, I guess they wanted to act dumb and put TWO songs that were already on The Bedit Tapes on this album, too? What the heck?!

Forgetting everything that I just complained about, the songs on this album are AMAZING. One more minor complaint, in the song "As Advertised," I seriously can BARELY hear what the heck Marc's singing during the chorus of the song. I have to suddenly turn up the volume a bunch when it gets to those parts!

Let's hope that they make a Demo Non Stop 2!
