Family collects cancer research funds to honor their son
The Armin family has used a tragedy to benefit those diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. In 2008, Roy and Glenda Armin’s son, Brett Armin, died of soft cell tissue sarcoma. He was 28 years old. He graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1996 and was active in theater and music and enjoyed golfing.

Marc Almond replaces Boy George
Singer Marc Almond will replace jailed pop star Boy George in a 1980s party concert in Norfolk this summer. Almond topped the charts with Tainted Love as part of the duo Soft Cell in 1981.
