Something For Kate Music Video: Only the Good Die Young-A tribute
Only the Good Die Young-A tribute
I have been planning this for quite a while, but what finally inspired me to do it as the sudden death of Steve Irwin (R.I.P.) This was something I HAD to make. It is a song that Queen recorded especially to for Freddie Mercury who had died of AIDs, and it is a song about only the good dying young. This is a tribute to ALL those who died young, not just the people in my video, but the people I picked were well known example of good people who died before their time. These people are, in order: Jonathan Larson: The writer and creator of the revolutionary and heart wrenching rock opera, RENT, who died of aortic aneursym just weeks before the show opened on Broadway. Richard Beckinsale: Actor in the popular comedy series "Porridge", also starring Ronnie Barker, and father of Kate Beckinsale. He died of a massive heart attack at home at the age of 31. John Lennon: Beatles singer and songwriter. Peace activist. Shot dead by a crazed fan at the age of forty. Steve Irwin: Wildlife conservationist, and star of the ever popular TV programme "Crocodile Hunter". Killed in a freak encounter with a stingray whilst filming a wildlife documentary at the beginning of September this year. He was 44. And of course, Freddie Mercury. One of the most amazing talents ever in the history of popular music. A great songwriter and a superb singer. Died after a long battle with AIDs in 1991, at the age of 45. R.I.P. every single on of them, and every single other person who died young.
