Staind is an American alternative metal group formed in 1995. Staind self-released their debut album «Tormented» in 1996 and is generally regarded as the band's heaviest and rawest effort. The band's big break came in 1997 with their album «Dysfunction» reaching 2x Platinum RIAA Certification.
