This cd is one of the last of the original band together. It is a good cd. Status Quo is simply one of the greatest hard rock bands ever. It's a shame the good ol USA music world hasn't seen the light yet. U'll like this one though, then comes the 80's where the band went, like all bands with the 80's sound of heavy keyboards first, but then they reappear in the 90's & 2000's back to their rockin ways.
The band was still at their peak here with hit songs like: something bout you baby I like' which is so bouncy and fun that I still smile whenever I think about it. It's got 'never too late' and 'don't stop me now' to rock you hard too. This one was a perfect 1980's cd imo. A real highpoint for rock and roll for that decade. They would never repeat this level of greatness though. their great period would end soon and the next two cds while being excellent are just not as great as this one. Then came along period of decent to better cds at least until 'heavy traffic' which returned them to greatness imo. SO anyone that loves rock and roll that has drive and punch but isn't metal should like this one. It's a gem in the quo catalog for sure.
