- Sorry for being a pussy but this album is HEAVY
I've been obsessed with STS for about a year now... got into them by word of mouth and started downloading albums (have bought them all now) and didn't know what I was listening to (in what order of release) but was drawn to this album because it's just sooooo good. The songs are great and the production is prefect and fitting for the songs. I love all STS albums but only New Moon and Morning Never Came will get 5 stars from me. Every song is unique and every part in every song is perfect! Drums, guitar tone, bass, drums fills, keyboard sounds and vocals... and backing vocals are perfect. I love the way they mix the vocals to NOT be over the music but mixed as another instrument, it makes the music come out sounding heaver overall and makes the vocals sound better. It's good to hear a band put out a great album 4 (or 5) albums in.
Good job lads!!! How will you out do this one??
- Good Music Terrible Production
This is not a bad album from the band, but it is not their strongest effort either. My only real complaint with the album is the terrible production. This album sounds like it was recorded underwater in a swimming pool. This has to be one of the worst produced albums I have heard in quite some time. I don't know what the deal was but thankfully their best efforts are a much better recording. Their first album (The Morning that Never Came), and Hope are their two best efforts. If you can hang with the piss poor production on New Moon then I would suggest purchasing it.

- Disappointed
1st album awesome. 2nd ok. 3rd great. 4rth ok. See the pattern? Too many bands create great catchy music but dont live up to it. Though this album is better than most its not what STS should have come out with. Their signature feeling just isnt there.
