- third time's the charm

first things first. i beleive sylver, lasgo and milk inc are the best in their genre. it amazes me that sylver's releases are not released domestically. there are other euro trance bands that do have u.s labels but sylver is the best and they dont. what separates this album from others in this dance category is that it is so original. the combination of euro trance, ballads, pop and r&b vibe is just amazing.

i did prefer their second album, little things, to their first, chances. but i didnt think anything was a strong as "turn the tide",until now.

"take me back" and "sympathy" make you forget about anything you've heard before. just the most perfect vocal trance you can imagine. "sympathy" is the "i will survive" of the trance world.

their next single is "make it", which is kind of trippy, housey, electronic sounding. sounds like nothing sylver has recorded before.

another thing that makes this album shine is sylvie's vocals. she can sing anything. the proof is here. electronic dance music can be very cold. but sylie's vocals warm every track. i dont think i've ever heard a more beautiful ballad than "who am i". this is aband and cd that can take dance music to the top where it belongs, if given the chance to in america.

- Nighttime calls

Sylver is one of those groups that you either love or couldnt care less for them... I absolutely adore their music. It is not your typical euro pop/vocal; the lyrics are profound, the rhythms carry you through the songs, which some of them are surprisingly slow, but that doesnt make them any less enjoyable. I already ordered two more of their albums, including the new "Crossroads", looking forward to hear how Silvy and Wout keep developing their unique style.

- New, Hot, and Exciting!

Sylver's newest album, Nighttime Calls, is one of the hottest and most origional pieces of music to be produced from the Belgian Dance scene. Songs, Make It, Summer Solstice, and Sometimes provide the listener with beautiful vocals, plus a dreamy sounding trance rhythm to complement them. Other songs such as, Make it, Where Did The Love Go, and Where Did I go Wrong, are composed unique dance and R&B rhythms, with hypnotic and groovy vocals. Over all this album, along with all of Sylver's others, is wonderful combination of dance, trance, and funky rhythms, that will please the ears of anyone! A must have CD!

- nighttime

wasn't impressed with this cd.

it wasn't what i thought the songs would sound like.

if you are fan of them, then purchase it.

- ONE VERY STRONG CD

This CD is a strong one. Much better than the average trance album. Good songs and a lot of them (14). No bad tracks. The lead vocalist is solid and consistant yet seems always very intimate and touching. Lyrics of the songs are intellegent but still quite alluring. The musical backup is tight, versitile, fitting. Was completely unfamiliar with this group until getting this CD, but I've got to say it's very worth having, good to listen to even more than once a day and I think probably for quite a long time.
